New Dye Screenshots

Silver's nice for ironically removing enamel from your armor. Unfortunately no other bare metal matches it.

I'd have to say the chances to get an uncommon dye is around 10%? Gold is probably very rare, as I've gotten around 10 black, 8 white, and 6 silver so far.

So far I've gotten 6 Pure White and 2 Metallic Silver dyes from my retainers. Still need another 3 Metallic Silver to finish dying my set (my current Lodestone picture shows the Augmented Cashmere Robe of Casting and Vanya Breeches of Casting dyed in Metallic Silver, unfortunately gloves and boots are Slate Grey while I wait for my retainers to stop slacking off). Tested one of the Pure White dyes on the outside walls of my FC house (looked kind of like an unmarked white van in house form), and the other 5 on the crafted i90 Healing set. It makes the Augmented Cashmere Robe of Healing look almost blindingly bright for some reason.

Just to clarify the requirements for getting these dyes (which come from Quick Exploration ventures only): your retainer must be able to do the 18-hour exploration XIV ventures - that is, i80 or higher for DoW/DoM, 383+ gathering for BTN/MIN, and I think 308 gathering for FSH (need confirmation for FSH, as I don't have a FSH retainer myself).

Silver makes the Evenstar pants match the top better, I think.

Yes, the 90 augmented, the one you can do for all lvl 90 gear classes (but not allagan) in Mor Dhona.

I was wondering, if someone have the anwser :

What matter to get rare items with quick venture as Botanist or Miner ?
ilvl ? Stats (gathering?), or it doesn't matter, and it's only a matter of luck ?

Pure White PLD

As i explained to several people, reason they probably didn't add this at first is because pure white normally blast out in web / print design... as you can see in direct sunlight.


Still looks fresh in other light though.
