It's not like Aurum vale doesnt drop Colloseum Body, Dodore Wings and Urraeus stuffI'd like to see a revamp of some of the old dungeons. Especially Aurum Vale. There is no reason to run that dungeon more than once for quest completion and it's a lot of hassle for not a lot of reward.
Vigil and Darkhold are more popular due to their unique gear drops. HINT HINT.

Aurum Vale is the best duty available to level from 47 to 50 in a breeze. You maybe have all 50s, so you don't care. Leave it for all the other people that needs leveling.I'd like to see a revamp of some of the old dungeons. Especially Aurum Vale. Can't the same be said for all dungeons though? If there wasn't a roulette almost no one would run any dungeon more than once. Things keeping people in those old dungeons are animus books, spirit bonding and glamour.

I think it'd be fairly likely that they'll keep the '2 hard modes and 1 totally new' pattern and we'll get a patch 2.6. My guess is that it probably won't have anything comparable to Coil/Crystal Tower Saga, but would instead have significantly more story to it, as a way to really set up the expansion, where we'll be going, and what it'll be about. If there is a trial, my guess is on it being Omega Weapon, based on the 2.3 story.

We're not getting a 2.6. 2.4 ends Coil, 2.5 ends Crystal Tower, making room for completely new things in the expansion.I think it'd be fairly likely that they'll keep the '2 hard modes and 1 totally new' pattern and we'll get a patch 2.6. I'd say it's highly likely that we will get all of them remade in HM by the expansion. If we look at the cycle... we should be getting 2.5 by end of january/start of february so more than likely 2.6 by april/may(possibly june to strech it a bit) and then followed up by 3.0 around the anniversary.
In general though do want to see more story focus and less here's stuff for you to grind.
As for the next 24man. I'm guessing it will happen with or post expansion.

well, you forgot the new dungeons they added in between (the regular lv50 dungeons) which could also like a HM version
maybe they'll just add all HM modes at expansion

Given that these are the 1.0 dungeons it could well be that when they were originally developed they weren't developed with hard modes in mind -- maybe these particular maps, for whatever technical reasons I don't understand -- don't have the ability/space/room/requirements to be expanded on. I'm pretty sure the 2.0 dungeons, when created, already had the different routes and areas created, or at least catered for, but they were just blocked off.
Adding on to the 1.0 dungeons could just be too much work!
Could be wrong though.
