I just want to re-register!!!!

The title says it all. Unfortunately, the Squenix website is too damned cumbersome to navigate, and so now I find myself unable to reactivate my account. AND I DON'T WANT TO USE MY STEAM WALLET TO PAY!!!! I have Crysta left over from my last payment-go-round and I want to use that, but I'm not given the option. You might suggest I contact Square personally, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Please help me before I give up on this company. (I really don't want to quit such a wonderful game just because of poor
customer support.)

You need to go to Change/Update Payment Method. You'll be able to select Crysta that way. It really isn't that difficult. Could they put a "Pay with Crysta" button on the front page? Sure...but they're protecting you by preventing you from using/registering multiple payment methods at once. Imagine paying your monthly sub with crysta and forgetting you still had a recurring credit card payment set up and getting another charge for the monthly recurrence.

Where did you see this? I know Ultimate Pay was supposed to go away, and it already has, but I've never heard anything about them quitting crysta.

To OP: for me, it's in the drop-down menu under Square Enix Account Settings on Mog Station, third one down. Add Crysta. It takes you to your Square Enix account straight to the page where you add it. Just note that they don't have the Ultimate Pay tab anymore, so you can't access those cards or paypal, you'll have to use one of the credit/debit card types they list.
