You can clear your blist, all rmt spamers are gone with in hrs. I don't use mine anymore for rmt, just annoying people as I never get the same rmt twice.I became unwilling to remove some of them RMT shouters / tellers because I used to remove them once and the tell came back again from the removed person, probably because one week wasn't long enough. So I just kept all blacklisted people on my blacklist. It has become a habit HAHAHA.
That's why it grew to 179/200 for me now. I try to delete the (deleted) character once in a while so I'm not really capped at 200/200. It would be nicer if we can select multiple persons and remove from blacklist at the same time, though.
Also, after a week of adding to blacklist (which, in my opinion, is a reasonable cool down time to remove from blacklist) sometimes I can't remember whether I blacklisted the person for RMT tell or not (nowadays they start using names that seem legit). I would hate to accidentally remove annoying people/emote spammer/rude people/verbal abusive people/etc. So, a separated list (one for RMT only, other for others) will also be a nice addition.

That's nice. Last time I remember not blacklisting a RMT who sent tell (which happened like probably 3 months ago) was when I went AFK for lunch, I came back to my PC with about 7 tells from the same person. By the time I got back, the person was already gone and I couldn't add them to my blacklist, though. It became a habit to blacklist RMT tells.
I had spoke to a GM about this briefly, some time ago. Once a character is reported for illegal actions and spam/harassment, it takes them 2-4 days to investigate the authenticity so the RMT can be removed.
Since talking to that GM, I removed all the rmt I had blisted and just turned off /tell notice sounds and just report the RMT (copy paste what they /t and have time stamp) and go about my day. Yes the friend request addition is annoying, but douche bag players are more of a nuisance.

I can't remember how many times it has been said, and I'm sure it will be said many many times in the future.
"Deleted" means they were deleted, not banned. This is to protect those who have had their accounts stolen for whatever reason.
Once a RMT spam bot is reported, it takes <4 hours or so to be banned. At that point, you can take them off your blist. So, I'd say tomorrow when you log on, it's safe to delete every single one of the people on your b-list (besides players that earned a spot there for being annoying/etc). From then on, just blist RMT spam as you would, then take them off the next morning. That way, it takes only around a minute of your time. Sure, you can complain about it being tedious, but at that point you'd just be being tedious yourself. Please do research on these things before complaining about them. This has been known for a very long time.
So what would the point of enlarging the b-list be? The fit more bots in there because people are too lazy to take them off or maintain it at all?

I don't know how this looks on PC, on PS4 clearing blacklist due to overflow is a big problem with hundreds buttonpresses. I need a buttons "clear all", "clear selected" and i need two separate blacklists - for spammers and for bad players :E
First may be "clearall-ed", second - second is small.

It's become mostly pointless to blacklist the RMT since they put in the tell restrictions. What use is blacklisting someone who will only ever send you 0-2 more tells. When they would send you 5 in a 10 minute span, it was different.
Now all I use my blacklist for is shout/emote spammers and other annoying people.
In 2.4 your blacklist will be managed by Mr. Reddington. The names won't be banned, but you can be sure that after a week, Mr. Kaplan will be hiding the bodies.
Why is it that i'm the only one who got this reference lol? And yes. SE please hire Mr. Reddington to get rid of the RMTs.

Why are you guys giving the OP a hard time on whether or not he/she can delete the names off of their list? It was a suggestion - don't be rude.
One that has been posted several times before. A quick search would have found them and found the GM responses saying you can remove the rmt spammers from your blist as they get banned with in a day or so. Since rmts cant really spam you as fast as they used to, I don't even bother blisting. I never see the same one twice in a day now.
