Google is contradictory
Is defensive reaction physical or magical damage?
Are mines physical or magical damage?
Is the damage taken from pushing the tower physical or magical?
-if physical, manawall should work right?
Cheers

neither
you take fixed % damage regardless even if you have SS & adlo even manawall up
1st stack 20% of max HP
2nd stack 80% of max HP
3rd stack 1 shot you
Cheers
i wrote it on the quote
Mines and Defensive Reaction are magical, not physical. Source: Manaward works on them, Manawall does not, and BRD and DRG take a couple hundred more damage than DoM do from them.

I get the mines with Manaward, am able to hit two and get back to the group for heals.
Sleigh is correct. When I have Mine duties, I Manaward to mitigate damage. Apocatastasis (reduces magical damage taken by 20%) helps greatly with defensive reaction.
Cool, what about the tower damage? Is crimson right about that?
I believe that the towers deal magic damage based on a fraction of your maximum health, but I'm not 100% sure on the magic damage part. I'll check on Tuesday.
The only physical damage that (should) get dealt to the non-tanks is Homing Missile. That one can be nullified by Manawall.
