I played AION for a year, and some of the first few dungeons were solo dungeons, which were nice, they got you okay gear and some decent money, and best of all, they taught you how to play your class pretty well. I had never learned the art of kiting until that game, on a squishy ranged DPS, nor the finesse of dodge skills on a melee DPS and stuns... I found them valuable experiences. And I would say, more quests would be nice, especially some that reset when you go on a new class... leves get repetitive and are always in the same area. The entire point of an MMO is not just about other people, there's the RPG aspect that allows for others to wish to explore and interact with a world within the game. There's nothing wrong with either side. Personally, its hard to find reliable people and randoms can be a pain, and those DPS ques are terrible *hugs* I feel that pain on my DPS classes all the time (but they're so fun to play!).

More solo content is a must. Not everyone wants to party up each and every time they wish to play xIv. It might be a MMO but it is also a RPG. Allow the player to take their game in the direction they wish.
