I would really like to see more solo contet and more job related choices, I think they are too simple, every signel class & job have allways excatly same role in pt and mostly same skill rotation I'd like to see some kind of "talent tree" in FFXIV so you could play WAR as DPS for an example, and also it would be really nice if there was some new solo stuff that you could enjoy, at the moment I think that the game is mostly based at primal EXs and bahamuts coil, its really nice that there is some contet that is challenging and you need skilled people to do it, but I really would like if there was more things that you could do as solo and kill sometime time maybe get some unique rewards from it.

It's a MMORPG. I honestly dont see the point of playing a MMORPG to do solo hard-core thing.

There is a lot of difficult non-MMO where you can have challenge alone and require only your own skills.

In a MMORPG, what I want, is to play with other players.
So no, myself I disaggree with you.

And BTW, Warrior are played as DPS most of time, even in coil.
They use strenght jeweleries and determination or crit as stats, DPS the whole fight, but just use defiance when they need to tank an add or something, and they do like 70-75% or more of the DPS a real DPS can do, witch is a lot for a tank.

Technically there's the entirety of crafting and gathering if you wish to play alone. I do this any time I'm playing and expect to be interrupted frequently.

yes, that is ture what you are saying, ofcourse you get the best gear by doing some pt stuff, but still I'd like to see some solo stuff that you just could kill some time with, you dont need to get the best gear from it, but just something that you could kill some time with, and yeah maybe war is great dps in coil, but you cant use war as dps in dungons rly, only choice is tank.
sometimes you just dont have time to seek party for an hour to do one fight and fuck it up like most of the time, maybe you just could enjoy doing your own things and maybe test your skills, like in FFXI.

I totally agree with you. I'm a i103 dps and I hate waiting a week and a half just to run some shitty level 20 dungeon for a single enemy in my book that I could in all fairness practically one shot if it weren't for the stupid ass time machine that I'm forced to step through every time I enter a dungeon. There is solo content like beast tribes, daily hunts, low level maps, and yes crafting. Those other guys weren't wrong, but I myself don't see the point in having to level up this super strong warrior of light if I'm going to get my ass kicked every time I'm not running with a full goon squad to handle my own personal business. Its annoying to me and the tanks and healers I have to pester, because I can't kill those enemies as another class and get credit. So I'm stuck with one option. The waiting game.

well, it is confirmed in the latest letter to the Devs that they are in fact working into making ways to solo the dungeons in the future by implementing NPC trainings or something... feel like FFTactics :v

I just hope it allows Duo or Trio instanses.

OP didn't say hard-core. Just said more solo content (which can be quests, solo dungeons, etc..).

And there's nothing wrong with someone wanting to play solo in an MMORPG. Contrary to what you might think, not everyone plays an MMO to fight alongside other people. They might just want to have other players to talk to, ask for help if needed, craft for, trade with, even role play with - without ever wanting to do a dungeon/party(battle) with them. These are all aspects of an MMO.

Good idea! And maybe they can make somethings dungeons, trials, and maybe even coils to be tried solo. Of course they would doctor the content for EVERY class/job can beat it but i like this idea. I'm praying this happens to a extent.
