Roleplay centered FC?

I posted this on my server's forum, but I thought I would try here, too, considering people flock to General Discussion the most. I have three alts and I'd like to place them in a role playing FC or LS. I miss it and it would be nice to make more friends with similar interests. I'm from Behemoth. I guess you could call my role play style "formal." I don't use *'s or -'s for actions, whatever I say is between "'s, and I type full words (no chat speak). If there's a FFXIV role play forum, that would be nice, too.

I have noticed that a lot of RP'ers tend to come from Balmung. I may end up having to create a character or two over there.

As for FCs, my suggestion is, when you get to Balmung, just ask in /shouts in any of the major cities. Of course, because the RP community is so vibrant, if you really wanted, you could walk into any of the Adventurer's Guilds and RP your way into an RP FC.

You'll be more than welcome at Balmung. There's diverse roleplays for every walk from the casual to the adventurous there, and most people are well accepting of each other. There's even the occasional public event hosted.

I recommend looking up the Hydaelyn Role-layers Coalition: It's a great resource for roleplayers and role-playing communities to gather together and you'll see public events hosted there.

One trip-up. Balmumg is only open around 5:30 AM EST for creating a character, due to high population density.

^_^; all the warm welcomes are giving me the warm fuzzies! I just looked up the group you mentioned and I'll *definitely* be signing up ASAP. The website looks awesome . As for the restriction, yar, my heart fell a little when the list updated and I saw that it was still on black out. If anything, it's the weekend, and I'm a night owl .

Gilgamesh has RP ? I moved there for other reasons in July and I haven't noticed... Then again, I tend to do my own things on my own and with FC members.

My friend plays there, she says it's a bit...some times open RP is had, but I've seen more open RP's in Balmung in Ul'dah to be honest with you.
Balmung was just the most sought at one for Roleplay. Any other is eh.
