Hello, I am going to level to 50 today and i was wondering should i flat up spend my gil on accessories, my current accessories are ilvl 30s or should i just farm myth tomes and spend my myth tomes on accessories then armor + farm CT for armor or what should i do at this point lol...

and also for myth gear is there a specific name to what item to get or is it obvious like for example "name" of healing

and also i would like to order in which i should upgrade my pieces by atm im thinking accessories > ? > ? >?

do your relic weapon quest
use stones to upgrade to 100 and 90

I definitely recommend the above guide Hysterior posted. Also http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...0_in_patch_23/

I found it quite confusing as well and wasn't sure what to do or how to progress! I would buy some level 40-49 accessories so you'll have the ilevel to enter the early level 50 dungeons. Get gear from those and slowly work your way up, while earning myth. Crystal Tower is a nice way to earn gear and tombs, but (for me any way) the queue wait has been reaaally long lately so it might be quicker to earn them by running your daily roulette's and dungeons.

Not to confuse you, but another nice way of earning myth gear now is by hunting. Here's a guide for that.

You should also start your relic quest (here's a guide) for a i80-90 weapon (which you can improve later if you wish.)

As a Scholar, the myth accessories end in '..of healing' or 'SCH' on it like normal, so it's pretty obvious what to buy don't worry! Personally, the first thing I generally upgrade is weapon and then chest piece/left side.

I say go myth accessories first.....as not a lot drop throughout the HM dungeons and CT/ST will give you your armor

Sol. wise I'd go with armor seeing as all Daystar left side is BiS for SCH Crit build which is a great way to go , start with body first since it's the most expensive and work your way down.

I main SCH and the only daystar left side gear I have is ring and neck ..ring due to it being BiS and Neck due to RNG hating me on T7

I personally always go for left-side myth gear first, they give the biggest boosts (or the boosts that I like to see, in VIT and MND mainly), farm Ifrit for his weapon while I work on Relic. Then I go for accessories. Run dailies for myth, hunt for seals, you'll be i90 in no time. After I am i90 I start running ST for the gear there. Coil and EX primals are next on my list of things to do (I'm so chill it takes me forever lol). That's of course my two cents, all opinions here are valid!

combine it, get myth gear ct/st drop, if u get to ilv70 u can farm coil then get some soldiery pieces etc etc, no really neccesary to buy accesories
