Thread: holiday idea for future

Okay i just thought up of something that might be fun for the holidays in the future if during the holiday every one of em you could make potions drop randomly from monsters such as the skeletons

Skeleton would be given a temp chance to drop a skeleton potion that would turn the player into a skeleton (visually) for 30mins or so after drinking it) just a fun idea was thinking we could do in short monster potions for halloween xmass idk easter we could turn into eggs and bunnys

Halloween and Easter aren't celebrated in Japan like they are North America so I'm not sure if they'll have holidays for those days.

Maybe not in Japan, but similar holidays in Eorzea

Halloween = All Saints’ Wake
Easter = Hatching-tide

Actually, they do have special events for those US holidays in FFXIV: Hatchingtide (Easter event) and All Saints Wake (Halloween - that one was last year's one so it's likely SE will be posting info for this year's one soon).

tbh personally i dont celebrate any day execpt all hallows eve myself i was just saying itd be nice for a fun thing like that ppl chasing each other as skeletons
