Can we please send stuff to characters on our account?

Pretty please? I have vanity items and stuff I can't fit on my mules, would there be any way that we can send stuff to our characters on the same SE account via mail? I am constantly running low on money on one of my characters, and I have to send some to her, but I always gotta ask someone for help. I really don't wanna have to keep asking people to help me, I wish players could just send stuff needed (like crafting materials if they are leveling on an alt for crafting classes since you can't store all sets of buyable gear for crafting/gathering and hold DoW/DoM armor sets. I think it'd help a ton of this was implemented.

So in a nutshell? Can players send stuff to their extra characters on their account through the mail since we can't go and actually add our alternate characters to our friend list? It worked on FFXI, I think it would work here too.

I made my own Fc for this specific reason lol I can use the company chest to send stuff between my char and alt freely. I am pretty sure they did not implement it cause there must be a gil selling/bot issue somewhere in there but as stated above it can be bypassed I see FC group of bots farming stuff all day like shards/snurble tufts. I solved my space issue though by paying extra per month for 2 more retainers those are filling up also but it has helped a lot. I would love more armoury slots though for those gears I just like to wear for fun sometimes or since I am lvling multiple chars I have all different pieces of gear different lvls and it fills up pretty quick I had to dedicate 1 retainer to hold all my armor until I lvl those classes again.

I made my own 'alt' guild as well. its up to rank 3 now so I have access to all 3 bank vaults (and shard storage) which is all I really wanted

It is easier if you actually have 2 accounts though. Anytime I need to send stuff to my 'main' character/s I just send them to my wife or an alt I have on my wifes account.

As far as it 'working' for XI, they are trying to avoid some of the RMT activities that went on with XI. I don't see them ever giving us the ability to mail to ourselves to be honest.

FYI I can send almost anything between all characters on the same POL account, including some insanely rare and rare/ex (Unique/Untradable) stuff, so no it's more him just trying to prevent a problem that wouldn't have happened.

Unfortunately where I use steam, I can't have 2 instances of FFXIV up at the same time >_<

Got a PS3 or PS4? That option may work for you if you already have one. Otherwise, yeah. I only really use steam for humble bundles when they come out. Also, have you tried installing FFXIV twice to 2 different locations then adding it in manually as a second one?

Never tried dual running things with steam before since I really don't care much for it. But it does have some good deals once in a blue moon

Your other option is purchase and create a second account on the Station. Log in one character send to alt, log out then into 2nd account retrieve the mail and send again. (old school way of doing things )

You can open the game from the folder, without starting steam.

It's more like I just go to the Moogle in my Mog House or Auction House and Type in my character name and send the items to myself No additional accounts and systems needed It's literally a system in place that lets you share items between all characters on the account, only some exceptions.
