Aw bb if you were on Adamantoise I'd run all the low stuff with you since my tanks are all I have left to get to 30 as a safety net for incoming new job level requirements. I can offer the gift of insta-queue T.T we could try to queue simultaneously to get in the same group, I've seen that work sometimes. I hope you can find friends to run with! Although it sucks big time to lose out on the roulette bonus exp, that's like a level and a half almost every time.

Our job skills requre to do us quests anyway which imo do a pretty decent job at testing our skills. SE could even come up with additional quests to test us further..
You want exp for a class that you didn't play?

They could easily integrate a reward system for roulettes.

Example: A NPC Contact made for redeeming some kind of toke (cookie, pie, gold star, turd w/e). Each time a lvl 50 runs a roulette they get a toke that can be redeemed at the NPC for a list of items that you can not get otherwise. (more vanity/craft items, like the rarer dyes you get from retainers, or rarer ingredients for crafting). And keep the "daily bonus" as a double toke reward.

The low level progress in story and the high level gets a reward to play with. Everyone is happy

Only thing I wish they'd do with the roulettes is separate primals from them and give them their own roulette...

Yeah I also feel that the Nexus lights was a missed opportunity as they could have made low level content give decent amounts of lights and make pretty much all content a viable option but they screwed the pooch on that and now nexus primal farm parties are the most efficient way to do that and have ended up in trial roulette being boring and somewhat frustrating when you bring a new person into them and want them to get some handle on fight mechanics.

As an aside for anyone leveling up low level stuff, it's worth a shot to throw up the party finder. If you can get even a single tank or healer it speeds up your queue dramatically and I've managed to get random wonderful people to join for random stuff like helping someone go into Cutter's Cry just for a hunting log kill, Castrum and Praetorium waiting for the new people to watch cutscenes, etc. Also make sure all languages are toggled on in the DF menu.

I'll have to give it a shot again. Or possibly Roulette gives more lights than picking a dungeon manually... hmm. Either way, thank you.

The OP is right, we need more incentive to do low level roulette. I haven't done it once since I finished my last 50 back in July, there's just no reason to.

They really have to do something about that before the expansion comes out.

How about giving an "experience" scroll like they had in XI for any level 50 completing low level roulette that you could use for any class?

I have seen ideas like this discuss on the boards here before and primary argument against it is: You the player really should level the character normally to "learn" how to play it correctly.
