I don't have mine on auto re-new and a lot of people I know don't. I make a mistake in the past, where I subscribed for 3 Month Terms. I end up with either got nothing left to do, waiting for a patch, disappointed with the patch and get stuck with the auto re-new 3 Months and can't do anything about it.

With none auto re-new, I can take a break anytime without commitment and wasting my money. It's not I don't have the money, it just when the game is no longer fun I unsubscribed and take a break and come back to check out the patch, if it not good I won't subscribed next month instead of having it auto renew on me.

With auto-renew you get an email each month a few days before it renews so if you want to cancel your sub you still can.

And in regards to being married somehow meaning you have to suddenly drop everything when called: get a more respectful partner? Nothing has to be done "right this second", it can wait 20 mins. I don't understand how gamers could ever end up with a partner who doesn't understand their gaming hobby. I'd never be able to date a non-gamer.

Whats sad is after I saw a screen shotted shout once from a angry player over a FATE that spawned and no one was coming to it because it was Mothers Day and people were off spending time with their mothers. Said player said "this FATE is worth 35k XP, send a card" and I wouldn't be surprised at all about the funeral statement >_>

I was running Cutter's Cry a few days ago, and right in the middle the tank was like "I have to go. Sorry" and left. We were like "waht". Why join if you have something to do in 20 mins? Or otherwise I thought maybe his mom made him stop playing :P

I shouldn't judge though. I ordered pizza and then started a dungeon. Didn't really think that one through. The doorbell ring in the middle of a boss fight. I was the healer. We didn't die bc I took the controller with me and was spam healing the tank and praying. Also possibly the BLM helped to heal while I was gone. It was only like 2mins but still I felt pretty lame for that.

Sometimes real life gets in the way unexpectedly. Nothing you can do about those moments, really.

This one is a BS excuse, they probably finished their entries for a Grand Company hunting log then bailed. What's more annoying is individuals that complete their entries then pretend to afk so they get kicked to circumvent the timer. I once had a quarn party where the healer tried to pull that stunt, we let them sit around while the black mage and summoner took turns healing. Healer gave up on getting kicked and left.

If SE added the last boss of the dungeon to those logs or swapped one of the other entries with the last boss these players would have no choice but to see the dungeon through to completion.

One time I had my dog outside in my front yard without a leash (electric fence) and a saw some coyotes out the window. The coyotes started howling and running. I was in T2 healing on ADS as SCH.

We died, but at least my dog didn't. Try not to judge so harshly you don't know whats going on.
