How/How'd You farm your Alex

Currently working my Novus ( SCH 37/75) and I feel my grind is moving gradually slow. I obtained my animus about 6 weeks ago (I've failed a few chest and skipped a day ) but overall I want to know how everyone else goes about getting there alex...I do materia as I go so that part isn't the big worry but actually getting the alex. I probably get about 2 a day( daily Ex quest and then I buy a map). Doing the hunts are okay but get drastically boring and grinding for 200 seals for 1 Alex is pretty depressing. Any other methods of obtaining for you and how fast they worked ?

I just do the daily quest and when I have enough Myth from Roulettes/ST I buy a map, but I don't farm anything.

Sorry to say, but Hunts are far and away the fastest way to go. Seals for the alex and myth for the maps. Nothing else really comes close.

I dont like hunting neither myself, but when I wanted to do my weapon faster (becoz a new step came and it became the best weapon), I had to hunt.
Before was doing only roulette, was going kinda slow.

With hunting, took me like 5-7 days to go from 25 to 75... This is stupid how they make that with hunt you do everything... (even oil and sands)

Actually Hunts were fastest way to get alexies before SE removed myths from B ranks, now its alot more slower than it used to be. Before the myth removal it was waste to use allied seals for alexies as you were getting flooded with myths(getting 5-9 maps in a day was pretty common).

Break up the monotony with Trial Roulette and Story Roulette for some quick doses of Myth. They can be a little hit or miss on speed, so they're not the pinnacle of Alexandrite efficiency, but at least it gets you out of riding around razzer-frazzin' Central Shroud for a little while.

I did the same as Moqi for my Bard Novus.
Don't care for hunts and I saw no need to rush it.

I'll second Trial Roulette to break from the routine. Quick myth to be had there.
