I can tell you that it won't be on the 21th. Like everyone said it will be after the Fan Fest. However, if they push it back all the way to November, they will lose a lot of subscriber. There barely anything to do now beside Nexus for none new players, and the Nexus can be completed in a weeks.

They don't launch a patch unless Yoshida is there, so anytime during the Las Vegas or London Fanfest is out of the question.

If something goes wrong, Yoshida need to be there. (Also that last minute check)

As much as I'd -love- it to be the 21st, I think the 28th is more likely after both the NA and EU fanfests have concluded.

I hope they let us know a week in advance so I can prepare myself. Though i highly doubt they will let us know that early.

With the new Game of the Year Edition (announced for November 14th) being advertised with Shiva on the promos, I'm hedging my October 28th bet with November 11th.

Also, I actually laughed out loud at the guy saying they would lose a lot of subs if they "push" it back 2-3 weeks from the conclusions every is jumping to.

GOTY I don't believe has any relevancy besides the fact it is guaranteed the patch is before Nov.14. If anything, probably want to let the congestion calm down a bit a week or two before deciding to release a product that will shove more people in.

October 28th or November 4th sound like a safe bet.

I remember before 2.3 got release SE released a preliminary patch note. Now i don't remember if it was 3 days in advance or the day before. That would be pretty niffty though if they can do it again.

At first, I was thinking November 11th, because there hasn't been a trailer released yet.

But it's almost like they're releasing information backwards from how they did last time. For 2.3, we had the trailer documenting a bunch of content, and then the somewhat daily updates on individual content.

For 2.4, we have no trailer yet, but have seen info on individual content.

Based on that, I'd say November 4th.
