Try taking a photo during the day, and try to be outside when you do to yield best results on photographing artwork. Also if you have photoshop after you get the photo off whichever device your using to take photos of it you can adjust the contrast, and levels on the artwork in photoshop. This would help make the background more white, and let the lineart pop out more. It appears your doing the lineart traditionally and coloring on the computer? if so you can check out these guys photoshop actions to help clean up the lineart for you. I personally use them when I actually do traditional lineart xD
