    opinions are subjective. Except in my house. Cause if you come into my house saying that any of those games are better than Final Fantasy VI, you might catch a beat down.

    Fixed it for you.

    Of course this is all opinion.
    However, this game is based heavily in fan service to the Final Fantasy Series. Most of said series is pre-Final Fantasy 8, so you should expect a lot more of this sort of thing. If you don't like the older (better) games, then FFXIV might not be for you.
