Titles of areas on screen

I like the Idea I always thought that going into an Area and a Title Name pop looks cool. This and + that Name of Area above Mini-map someone mentioned!

I would love an area title to appear like it does in the latest gen FF console games. Its difficult for me to describe. The text kinda slides in, or appears and has a line that strikes through and then fades away.

I would simply look at the map, but hey! This can be useful for boosting up the learning of the world's paths.

That or have it pop up in your chat log when you entered a new area... like in FF11...

Yes, a thousand times yes! I would love the addition of a slick, "faded wipe" style appearance of the zone's name each time you enter it. I wouldn't be opposed to it announcing you entering dungeons, arriving at camps, etc.

I don't think it would be overly intrusive if it were near the upper center of the screen. Maybe it could be written in some elegant script.

I think adding the name of the zone you're currently in above the mini map would be a nice touch, as well.

I am all for an opening cut scene for first time entry into a new zone where the camera pans around the scenery and name fades in and out then back to character.

I think FFXIII had it.

I am against, 100%, for WoW type text on my screen every time i zone, enter dungeon or camp.

Much like "Full Party" appears on screen, the area you enter should as well.
