Jayzan: I love everything about this photo. The outfit and scenery are a perfect match. The pose is perfect with your hand out like that on the table, it looks like you are trying to prove your point to the npcs.

Tinsley: This is great! You look like you are waiting in line with the beastmen. Again the pose is great, it looks like you are reading your book while you wait. <3 it.

Maxwell: I had a hard time picking between yours and Ciara. Ultimately it came down to the pose and the placement in the photo. I felt like those bomb at the bottom of the picture detracted from Ciara and I just didn't like the pose. Your pose was adorable and unobstructed.

Kurri - I enjoy the emotion in the shot, the pain of failing as a beginner. The composition is VERY good, a diagonal of heights and perspective, with the supervising master crafter's gaze making you the focus of the shot. There's just the right amout of effects not to hide your surroundings.

Maxwell - A playful shot! The NPCs in the background work to your advantage, enhancing a beginner practicing timing their jumps in the safety of Gridania. Not the best I've seen from you, but good enough to get my vote.

Jayzan - The composition is really interesting, and the lighting is fantastic. You hit the scenic part like a nail on the head with the ship in the background. I only wish your face had been slightly more visible, maybe turned towards the NPC on your left so we at least got your profile. If it had been a pick of two, I wouldn't have chosen this one. You can do better!

Tinsley - It's a sound idea, and pretty good use of the setting, but somehow it comes off slightly ordinary and boring.

Ciara - It could have been a nice framing, but you're drowning in that busy setting and there's no depth to the lighting.

Ciara - Colors, it was a good approach and fit the Elezen motif, noble/refined/love of peaceful coexistence, the picture without you is just a normal sunday afternoon in Limsa, but with your presence...it really amped the picture up another notch (only note is no level 1 hand item is shown clearly)

Maxwell - This is pure simple fun at its peak moment, it was a good location choice and good idea overall, how are you making it from one log to the next with those tiny legs I have no idea however (only note, no level 1 hand item show in this either)

Final choice was tough...
Tinsley - level 1 item in hand check, this shot was a very subtle approach, it had a good profile going, and a nice theme of standing in line to start your adventure...which akins back to I think for a lot of us with the Queus and constant disconnects and so forth in the initial first weeks of re-launch, this should simply be titled "please look forward to it"

Not Picked this week and why

Jayzan - This shot didn't work for me for one very big reason....it was the angle, for me one of the biggest things I look for in model shots is being able to discern the actual look of the model and this was too much behind the back so to speak, I think another 15 degrees to get a more side shot going would have snagged it.

Kurri - You and Tinsley were my neck and neck vote, what chose it for me was the memories of day 1 getting in game which is what I got from her standing in line theme, I enjoyed what you did, angle was good and the concept worked really well plus you got us Miqo'te back in the shot (yay go cats) but it was the theme from Tinsley that hit me a lil harder in the choosing.
