☆ Secret Smilebringers 2014 ☆ A FFXIV Art Exchange!

Hello everyone! I don't post on these forums much, but I wanted to get this out there and invite all artists in the community to a FFXIV Secret Santa art exchange!

Here is the link to the tumblr that was made for it, but for your convenience here's a copy/paste!

What is this you ask? A Holiday FFXIV art exchange event!

Sadly due to the lack of interest for including XI, I have decided not to include it in this year’s event. While both games are similar, they are just way too different where people playing one may not be comfortable or interested in drawing characters/environments from the other.

Now for those who aren’t familiar with Secret Santa style art exchanges, I’ll go into how everything works!

First off, You are probably wondering ” How do I join in this fun!?” To join, Simply click on the “Join the fun” button to the left on the main page ( or click here lol ) and send a ask. If you don’t have a tumblr blog, please send a email to secretsmilebringer[@]hotmail.com ( remove the [ ] ) When Submiting your request to join Please title it “Join request” . I will then update the Artist list periodically until the cutoff on November 3rd hits.

All people who will be joining the event will be invited to the blog for the submission period so everyone can just post it directly to the blog themselves. However if You don’t want to make a tumblr acc/don’t want to join, you may submit via email. Just title your email “Art Submission along with whatever you want to say if anything at all.” You may also upload it to your blog first during submission and send a link for us to reblog if you wish.

Now that’s not all you have to do to be included in this fun event! We require everyone to have a wishlist up by November 10th! You may submit a url to your wishlist to us by the same methods of joining, however if sending a email please title it Wishlist. You must send a wishlist in before the cutoff date of November 10th or you will not be included in the event. If you have no place to post your wishlist ( Blog, website, DA Journal, ect. ) You may submit everything via email and I will post it on a side tumblr to have a link to give to your Secret Smilebringer.

If you have a tumblr can post your wishlist on a blog and mention Secret Smilebringers, as well as sending in an ask saying you posted to be positive it was received. You will get a notification back within a 48 hours confirming it has been received and posted.

Art Submission will be December 24th through Jan 1st. Please do NOT post your art till this time. You may submit it via email, or if you are on tumblr and submit it directly to the blog. If you will not be around during the submission period please send me your submission via email so I can get it up.

For the actual requests, you are only required to do a illustration of the person’s main character. Please put effort into it. No super messy sketches, flat colors only, ect. If you want to be generous though, feel free to add in other characters into the picture if the person puts a friends/alt section on their wishlist.

Description: A tsuntsun lala girl who loves money and gambling. She was born and raised in Uldah to a wealthy goldsmith family. Unlike her parents who value hard work, She is lazy and likes to gamble money away. She is extremely spoiled and oblivious to anything that she isn’t interested in.
