    Linkshell Switch with /1 /2 /3 etc..

This has been suggested in a few places but I wanted a post to call this out specifically. When crafting you have to exit the crafting interface completely to switch linkshells. While crafting may seem exciting it is not. Chatting with your friends on Linkshells is the only recourse for this tedious bit of leveling.

Please add the ability to switch linkshells via chat command with:

    /1
    /2
    /3

This is a major annoyance with what could be solved simply. It is one of the things that I find to be infuriating.

Many other good suggestions in this thread: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/18733-dev1005-dev1026-Changing-the-user-interface-or-adding-options-that-fits-keyboards?highlight=switch+linkshells

Totally agree. I'd also like CTRL, ALT or SHIFT+1 ~ +8 to do the same thing, even on or even if only on chat specific keyboard.

Aye would love a easier way to switch LS at times, especially when crafting.

I suggested a while ago something simiar.

Leving /l for talking at equipped LS and you being able to set a number after /l to talk on a specific LS, just like we do in /t...

    Example:

/l 2 Hello! = Say "Hello!" in your second LS.

yep this is definitely needed, rep responded in the past "due to the server" but if they respond again can see if it's still the issue...

    /linkshell or /l = current equipped linkshell
    /linkshell1 or /l1 = #1 linkshell
    /linkshell2 or /l2 = #2 linkshell
    and so on...

Also, using /linkshell1-8 or /l1-8 would only chat in that specific linkshell not switch the actual linkshell
to actually switch default linkshell use /chatmode linkshell1-8 or /cm l1-8 for short

Can we have that plz SE?

This option is huge and would eliminate a huge burden on the highly social community. I myself have 4 linkshells I switch between almost minute by minute. I have set a quick key to SHIFT + L to bring up the linkshell list and switch but it's just not fast enough. We should be able to talk easily just as we talk between tells, party, linkshell, and I am assuming company in the future. This needs to be effortless.

Come 2.0 I think a system such as Eve has would be great. Where you can create your own personal channel and invite who ever you want, being able to switch between chats(in their case tabs) with ease.

Teven further... voice chat, can I have it? other games, going to use Eve as an example again have built in voice chat. Can we have something similar, or perhaps a voice server from the lodestone? This would further alleviate communication issues and not force the community to use third party programs
