Just to get things straight. If they abolish physical level will we keep "point alotment" feature? I think they should keep Point alotment for class atleast..

They could, but I think it'd be mostly pointless (see what I did there?). Most classes would end up with one or two viable builds while any other ways to distribute your points would be doing it wrong.

With abolition of physical level, you will receive a certain amount of points every time you level up a rank (which will be changed to level once phys level is abolished)

You hit level 40 on your lnc, and you would receive points for that. The point allotment system will still be there. There are plans for you to be receiving less points per level, but the points will be "more effective/potent"

Good to know. I had honestly already forgotten exactly what kind of system was proposed to replace physical levels. I suppose it could still change, though.
