    Auto Attack too slow, speed it up a little

    Most of the time I spend the time staring at the screen and was wondering if Auto Attack is taking place because it is so slow. I also join Marauder with 2 handed and it take them a long time just 1 hit. It would be nice to speed it up just a little. The slow attack is making the battle really boring and watching paint dry.

    You're still doing nothing ,so this suggestion is kind of backwards.

    How about they lower the recast of basic skills and perhaps make you get more tp instead? Or introduce more mechanics that will occupy you.

    Get more DoW ranks before you start posting nonsense like this. Character animations cannot keep up with the constant attacking of mid to high level DoWs. Auto-attack speed is fine and TP generation is probably excessive if anything.

    Also, ways to reduce delay and gain multiple attacks per round are coming.

    None sense? Just because you don't think it okay with you doesn't mean you speak for everybody and it's ok. FYI I start this game since Collector Edition, and I always have a static of 5 people party. I have 46 Conjurer, 50 Gladiator, and now starting a Marauder. I been playing this game quite a bit and I know from a good battle system from a bad one.

    Maybe you need to play more instead of criticizing because you're not very good at it. And I said LITTLE not speed it up so much that it broke the game.

    I can agree that PGL does seem excessively slow for a class that I would expect to have the lowest attack delay even if the damage for auto-attack is reduced even further. MRD delay can be justified by giving them a bigger damage and enmity boost I think. I wouldn't expect someone to swing around a big axe over and over like it weighs nothing.

    You didn't even present a counter-argument (only an ad-hominem). The character animations literally cannot keep up with the rate of attacks coming from auto-attack, TP builders and TP moves. Don't you have Invigorate or are you just never satisfied?

    The exception to this could be extremely high level or defense monsters that take less damage and therefore awards less TP, but you should already be drowning in TP during fights against most monsters.

    Don't pay any attention to Frien, looks like he must of escaped his basement cage.

    Most of us do understand the pain currently, Darkrose. I don't mind a slower paced battle but I do think 4 second swing time on mrd is a bit too much. Just shaving off 1 second would make a huge difference.

    If you have nothing to post other then to piss people off, id like to ask you to do it elsewhere frein.

    More on topic:
    From my limited experience with DoW lately i must say that it does feel rather slow.
    TP generation abilities help a bit, but not so much on the classes that tend to use 2-3k skills (because they are more damage effecient).

    I'm not at very high ranks with my DoW however, so i cant comment on how its balanced at mid to high ranks.

    I guess you missed this part:
    Character animations cannot keep up with the constant attacking of mid to high level DoWs.
    Perhaps my tone was unnecessarily blunt, but it tires me to see people constantly make suggestions or complaints they can't actually back up with any kind of reasoning other than roughly the following: "I haven't really tried to do anything about but it feels slow"

    I'm guessing future changes to the BR system are going to shift the focus away from spamming abilities as fast as possible towards a more timing based battle style (like FFXI's skillchains). Right now it's often quite easy to pump out back to back TP moves almost as fast as the animation cancels allow.
