I would love to see that happen.People discredit it for being old and out of date, but I'd think it's probably still qualitatively correct, if not quantitatively correct. Equip two physical damage classes/jobs with flash and provoke, figure out the rough damage/potency for each class with/without str accessories, and with/without FoF, and futz around on a training dummy seeing if the other class needs to do more damage after a provoke/flash when using FoF and/or str accessories.
Lately I have been reading some posts here and on reddit of players arguing if Fight or Flight affect flash or not.
Want to get some confirmation on this.
Adding STR, increases your Attack Power, which def affects flash.
Increasing STR would also increase your DPS, which in turn = more threat generated.
Hoarders gonna Horde.
Fight or Flight does not affect spells, so it doesn't affect flash. Which is clearly labeled a spell. Beserk however, does affect flash.
Hoarders gonna Horde.

I run everything but Ifrit EX, Levi EX, Ramuh EX, T7 and T8 in STR accessories (And only T8 has the survivability reason, but even then, could do it with STR), it's just easier to control DPS for phase switches (and Ifrit's and Levi's auto-enrages) when my damage is not as high.
In addition, I tank all dungeon (coil doesn't count) bosses (except Halicarnassus, those IV spells can hit pretty hard + she has an auto-enrage) outside tank stance, unless on WAR, in which case I drop Defiance as Berserk + Unchained expire.
Not because of hate, but because the extra damage means stuff is cleared faster. When the HP is not needed, there's no reason not to increase the damage output.
