"Shadowflare+Bane+Miasma II kills them all outright" yes pretty obvious.
i saw a SMN spend an entire dungeon run, casting only energy drain, and Miasma 2, and ruin...so i wouldn't know if you thought bane would work on shadowflare -.-

Most people on forums seem to know at least basic class mechanics, so I didn't bother to stipulate the obvious (that your golem should have DoTs applied before you Bane).

Yes, some players really are that bad, but I try to give benefit of the doubt :P

I don't have a problem with them adding new fairies for the SCH but it is not like the summoner where it is built completely around the summons. I'm surprised the SCH even has a pet in this FF. While it would be cool, please dont expect the same level of pets to be released.

Assuming they do add another fairy or atleast another attack then perhaps they can give it something like contagion?carbuncle has a similar technique.

But that might be too op. It may be easier to implement a tank fairy.

to me sch is somewhat of a hybrid like warrior so i wouldn't see the problem with a dps fairy

The last thing a SCH needs is a DPS-fairy. Even as it is, SCH is incredibly powerful and able to contribute a ton of DPS while not neglecting the necessary amount of healing either (in the right micromanaging hands), when it comes to party-content.

Personally? If we were to get Helios, I'd like him to be a support/debuff-fairy of sorts as well. Something like a party-wide crit-aura for higher risk/reward running, some kind of a boss debuff similar to Storm's Eye and so forth. I don't really have any real, solidified ideas about what it could be, but something of that support ilk would be great.

Scholars get AoE shielding and heals while White Mage AoE heals only heals! AoE stoneskin with it PLOX
Scholars get to shield after healing! Stoneskin combined with Cure II PLOX

Scholar's Aetherflow has a 1 minute cooldown and shroud has two minutes! Also why doesn't Shroud give us 3 stacks?!?! PUUUUULOX

Scholars and White Mages both have their pros and cons. Some of you are comparing apples and pears! But when you combined them together they make an awesome smoothie! (or 2 other fruit, if you prefer :P)

the point was that ppl complain SCH shouldn't get any attacks, cause they are healer....well WHM is healer too, and good AOE DD. so saying that sch shouldn't get any attacks *cause healer* it's just silly argument.
