Possible expansion SCH concern

Eos and Selene aren't fairy names, they are aspects of a single fairy named Lily. Jeez didn't anyone pay attention during the SCH quest line? Due to this, it would be impossible to have both out at the same time (not to mention the balancing issues it would cause).

helios is the brother of the goddesses Selene, the moon, and Eos, the dawn. from greek mythology and they both have moves that reference dawn and the moon

If it SE wasn't lazy and gave us separate Limit Breaks, we could have both faeries do something amazing lol.
Also, yes, Helios would be a great idea. I guess defence would work...or a debuff thing or something...sadly debuffs kinda suck in this game especially for bosses.
Or maybe increases Spell Damage and Physical Damage then give a shield or something lol.

Scholar probably doesn't need any more pets. Chances are Summoner pets will be a job then and Scholar will get another heal or DPS ability.

Unless they gave a new summon to the ACN. As for OP's screenshots, can you simulate what it would be like if there was 24 SMN ready for frontlines with their "Siren" egi out?

First off I have no idea why you're using old pics that were data-mined back in the beta forums, especially since they have nothing to do with SMN or SCH. I honestly thought those were deleted /shrug.

Well a few people in here so far have brought up a good point, they could try and tie in "Helios" as a third fairy. But honestly what else could they do with more fairies? Unless they finally break away from the traditional strict trinity lock.

Hello, after I\\\\'ve searched and read from the live letter and official forum,
it\\\\'s been confirmed that on later patches or maybe expansion, SMN will not only get reworked? But also will be getting new EGIS as the level cap increase implemented.

Please provide source where SE have confirmed SMN is being reworked. All I have seen confirmed is we are getting new Egis.

I kinda assumed SCH was going to get a new fairy as well. If Selene heals and hastes, Eos heals and regens.... then "Helios" should protect, sort of work out as a sort of SCH version of Protect/Stoneskin on top of the basic healing.

Of course, WHM would be getting some new abilities, and we will probably be getting into the third healing class by expansion time. SE will balance it out somehow.

I personally enjoy the idea of a new fairy.

I think though, since from what I've gathered from reading live letters and such and I can't quote directly, I think SCH is focusing more on the duality of sun and moon and not the elementals. I wouldn't be surprised if SMN focused on elements and SCH kept to light and dark, similarly to how SCH in XI were focused on the duality of light and dark. I think Selene and Eos will each get new moves that will change how we play when we have each fairy out. Still though, I hope we do get a new fairy, just because. :P

Its possible, though I'm not sure how to make a third fairy different enough to be worth
the implementation. I'm sure they could think of something to add some spice and variety
though.

Since they'll need to find ways to add more egi's for smn, the route they could easily take
at cap raise, would be to allow ACN a new summon spell (that would become a new fairy
for sch and a new egi for smn) and allow SMN to learn a summon as well (2 egis with 1 cap
raise)

They could add a:

1. Defensive buff pet
2. Ranged dps pet
3. Melee Dps pet
4. Debuff pet.

They should remove silence from Selene and give it to the new debuff pet, Selene should get a buff spel, making her a full buff pet.

the thing about that selene having silence is that it is flavorful. selene is the goddess of the moon...the moon brings night and night brings silence. even her buffs could be said to symbolize phases of the moon. i think for helios an aoe crit buff would be both flavorful and relevant. the sun brings day and the day is louder than the night
