    Update

    - Radically changed Elemental's Carole and Threnody. Carole is now an AoE heal that grants various buffs, depending on Tempo and Threnody is a AoE debuff that changes depending on Tempo.
    - Changed Sentinel's Scherzo to what Kuwagami suggested.
    - Foe's Lullaby now effects all foes within 5 yalms of the user.
    - Re-arranged the level skills and traits are acquired.
    - Removed Horde's Lullaby trait.
    - Added Elemental's Revelry trait.
    - Tenuto now effects Elemental's Carole, Threndoy, and Etude.
    - Retuned some of the remaining traits.

    I like the idea, overall.

    Can already tell you, this thing would have several useless skills and balance needed.

    Lightning Tempo is useless.
    Rez ability is unbalanced, unless they're replacing a healer.
    Sleep ability needs a little balancing.

    And the concept of adding elements, while it would be awesome, is sadly inapplicable to this game's combat system.
    But those points aside, good Imagineering.
    Keep it up, hopefully some of your ideas inspire a designer!

    I guess I can see that, see has it's Etude only increases Accuracy and the only offensive Lightning abilities are the Thunder spells and anything Carole touches. I think I need to re-evaluate Carole's effect somehow...

    I gave it to them a little early because I was worried that they didn't have enough healer stuff (they are healers, after all) and I didn't want to waste a trait on making it battle ready.

    Sleep
    The Sleep spell follows the same rules as THM/BLM's Sleep. I gave it to them the group sleep at 24 because I was worried that they didn't have enough to protect themselves when they solo.

    Adding Elements
    I know. I thought maybe the addition of Thernody would help but I need to rethink Carole's effect.

    I really hope such a healer could come in game

    a few comments that I hope could help to improve the concept ^_^

    Sentinel's Scherzo : it's basically Succor. Rather than that, I could see a temp. buff of defense for a few seconds (let's say it would decrease damage taken by 5% for 10 seconds. Probably needs balance)

    Battle Cry : honestly I'd see it as an AoE, attack enhancer (because of the name mainly >< ). Maybe something like "Creaking cord" or similar would fit.

    Elemental's Thernody : I fail to see its use as the elemental resistances have no use now.

    I copied Succor because I needed a group heal and wanted better damage mitigation then Carole. You idea could be interesting, like Muse's equivalent of Media II or Succor.

    I had originally thought of making Battle Cry a buff or debuff but I needed another offensive song and/or DoT.

    Thernody
    I designed it to work with Carole's Element adding property and with BLM and WHM's spells and SMN's egi. I'm definitely going to rework this and Carole to be similar to Etude.

    I had a couple of new ideas :

    Foe's lullaby : transform it as a point blank sleep AoE, within 5 yalms. The idea is to keep up with the general concept of the class I understood (ignore me if wrong) of a healer specialized in supportive point blank AoEs

    Horde's lullaby : is now rendered useless. Instead, and to give something new to a new healer, I could see something like "Panacea : Herbal Pastoral now prevents the next detrimental effect applied within 15 seconds to the target"

    For cross class skills, I'd see Devil's Oratoria rather than the lullaby for balance purpose, but I didn't think hard about it.

    The idea I put behind my suggestion was to create a new concept rather than to copy existing one. As we have Medica II which is an AoE regen (medica I serves as a good AoE heal too) and succor which prevents a part of future damage, a healing AoE which applies a buff (in this case, reduces damage taken. It could be increase damage done but it would not fit the idea of a healer, would it ? ) brings a new thing, an other option to consider when building a team

    Panacea: Herbal Pastoral
    I like this idea but not on Herbal Pastoral (I like having a basic Esuna spell). I'm currently reworking Elemental's Carole into a group healing spell that grants different buffs depending on the Tempo, I might use this idea there.

    Cross-Class
    I added Foe's Lullaby because I felt the other option lacking or too OP.

    Sentinel's Scherzo
    You're description is what I meant, a group heal that adds a damage reduction buff. I just compared its utility to Media II and Succor.

    when you think about it, it's not really that OP. You need to go to close range to make it useful (you really want to avoid that as a mage if possible >_> ) so it's really more a solo option than a group option (BLM are here for the mass sleep) except maybe in PvP. But it's still putting oneself at risk doing it.

    This exactly, can't like it on mobile.. :/

    I understand the OP. However, they ruined Bard. 2nd team wanted classical jobs in. They wanted a Bard and Archer was left so they gave us a crappy excuse how Bards use bows bla bla..

    Let's hope they rework the entire job system for 3.0. This way they can implement jobs however they want instead of this odd 1.0 remnant we have to live with now.
