atma drop with zenith+ state weapons

Please SE. I know the drop rate will be increased and such on atma's but cant we just have an atma drop while we are fighting with weapons passed the zenith stage?

if we are working hard on doing FATEs for our daily hunts or alex farming (i have yet to get one dropped after like 800+ FATEs), why should we separate our time to work hard on atmas?


Idm the grind but if we can get alex on higher tier weapons, why not atmas? =)

I honestly wondered the same thing. It's not like Atma are tied to the weapon you farm it with anyway (just has to be zenith currently), so why do you need to farm it with zenith specifically anyway? Doesn't make sense to me lol.

if they do this, they would need to make each of the atma stackable and be separate from alexandrite, so it would be possible to earn both at once.

You can get atmas with anything above zenith as well. Maybe you have been farming a zone that has no atma.

I don't believe that is true. Do you have a link where that is proven to be the case. I believe Zeneith is the only way to get an ATMA. You can get an Alexandrite with other weapons if I'm not mistaken.

with the amount of FATEs i did while waiting for Q's whilst leveling up my second 50 makes me wish they would implement a half the drop rate (which after 2.4 would be what the normal drop rate is lol) for lv 1-50 pre relic. Basically they can drop at any time/any weapon but no relic would be half the normal rate.

That is indeed false, the quest has stated that a Zenith Weapon needs to be equipped in order to get an Atma.
Alexandrite Laysa is correct you can get those with Animus and Novus as well
And the drop rate is being increased to double, so that means like 2% now
