English is not my native language so excuse me if my writing is kinda bad.
I have few ui/gameplay suggestions, some are mine, some have already be posted here.
1- Holding Shift while trade item between two char should remove the confirmation button and exchange the whole stack.
Yeah, trade item is slow and it's boring as hell to click on the confirmation button each time. I don't think a "Hold shift no confirmation" require a lot of work and i will greatly appreciate this.
2- Increase the trade windows from 5 items to 10.
Five items are not enough.
3- Search on inventory/retainers should work on chat linked items too.
On the last patch you add this feature nearly everywhere, but not on the items linked on the chat.
4- Add a /random command.
For RP purpose.
5- Add a RP tag near the name.
Already posted but worth mentioning
6- Allow us to buy multiple stack from the market board.
I don't say you should allow to buy single items from stack (i think it could be nice but it's worth a debate) but you should definitivly allow us to buy multiple stack from the marketboard.
Like when you want to buy 30 items and they are only availiable one by one.
On the market board, we should have a popup windows where we write how many items we can buy, if that number is not availiable (exemple : there is a 1,1,5,10 stack posted and we order 8 items) the popup will tell us the total price for the nearest lower number (in my exemple : 8 items are not availiable, 7 items will cost you xxx gils, yes/no).
7- Items who are not used and not binded to your character should stack.
It will be an huge improvement for crafter.
8- Add a Tackle box for fishers
Already posted but worth it.
9- I want to put my retainers as NPC in my house.
It's so sad to have to use a bell, it could be a nice addition in our house.
10- Add right click option on friend list to add access and differents levels of rights on your house. Like Access to the house, move your furniture, add furniture ...
11- Add "locks" on desynth
The desynth system should be rewrited, the current system when you loose 0.01 desynth when you use desynth from an other job is annoying as hell.
And there is no point in it, because you can avoid the loss using a 1-1-1 rotation. So why i talk about it ? Because it's annoying as hell, and it's a bad design.
Instead of this, you should have a lock icon near each desynth class. A class with a lock on can go up, but not down. And you're total desynth can't be over 300, so if you hit that score and you need to go over it, you will have to remove one of your lock.
I don't see the point of forcing player to buy low level items from other desynth class and do a "rotation desynth" each time they want to desynth something by fear they could loss desynth level. That's not fun.
12- Training dummy should explode (and quickly respown) after they receive a number of damage.
That could be a nice way to compare rotation and stuff without having to use any parser or forbiden 3thd party tools.
13- Allow quick synthesis on one star items.
You should make a quest that unlock quick synthesis on one star items that's available to hight-end crafter.
14- Add a quick desynth
Something a little like quick synthesis, when you have 100% chance of desynth, add a checkbox to desynth all items with the same name in your inventory (and only items who are not binded, no sb, no materias).
15- You should add a way to get a little more shards for hight level gatherer.
On each patch, you increase the number of shards needed for crafting an item, it would be nice if one star/two star gatherer had a way to get a little more of them.
