The nerf to Pharos is nowhere near as bad as the nerfs they did to AK. To me, that place suffered the real SE mega-nerf
Also 2-4 is fitting I'd think

meh why not varying difficulties? 2 dungeons something like tam tara HM, and make the 3rd one a monster, but reward higher amounts of the incoming new tome. I couldn't care less if pugs drop it, I'ts something fun that doesn't require a static. Think ex primal but smaller scale. Something this game desperately needs....
As for dungeon drops becoming meaningful, I doubt that's ever gonna happen unless se change their stance on tomes etc.

i hope they put less trash , soooooo boring killing 15 min of trash just for 3 min boss battle that is more easy than some pulls
I would say one 2, one 3, and one 4 so you get a spectrum.
The rewards would be appropriate for the dungeon difficulty they come from, for example 2 and 3 would give different peices from the same dungeon set; gloves, boots and belts from 2 and helm, chest, legs from 3 and then the 4 would have its own slightly better loot set.
If not that then probably 3 for all of them because I want at least some challenge, but I don't want to have form a premade or have people constantly dropping all the time if I want to run it.
I never did Sirus pre nerf. I heard stories about it though. Some saying it was hard, some saying it wasn't difficult at all. I only did AK when the Bees were annoying. I guess I'd take somewhere around 3. I'd like it to be challenging but I would hate for it to be really hard or something to the point where I never want to go back there. Most importantly I'd just like it to be fun. If I wanted something really challenging and hard I'd probably focus more on raiding and stuff.
The current 2.3 dungeons are just right for me. They aren't hard but the bosses can still be kinda difficult and fun. At least to me.
It's kind of the mindless zerg thing you mentioned, with such a varied playerbase that a good portion thinks the $content is already 4s or 5s, and another good portion thinking it's mostly easy.
It's all lemons.
5. the game needs more challenging content that isn't time-locked
^ This.
AK pre-nerf had one choke point: The Demon Wall. The final boss was too easy in comparison, and really needed to be a bit stronger. But as others have said, come out with Pharos Sirius difficulty dungeons (which I liked when everyone stayed/I ran with FC members) and it'll just drop off the face of the roulette like Pharos did until the nerf.
That doesn't mean you can't vary where the difficulty is placed to make each dungeon interesting, but they should be overall around a 3.5
EDIT: Kind of related, but I do think any dungeon with the word "Hard" at the end should be pushed up in difficulty a little bit, and at the very least feel more difficult than it's normal version...
