    Housing "Plot Class"

    Hello fellow adventurers!

    A curious question for you...
I took a little peruse through the housing section of these forums to try and find an answer, but had no luck. I'm curious what the difference is between the 5 "plot classes" for housing (besides the price). Is it simply based on the map location in the ward? Possibly also on how nice of a view you have from your estate?

Even more importantly than the above... Is there a way to tell, perhaps through a map resource, which plots are first, second, third, fourth, and fifth class plots? In particular, for the "medium" sized housing in Lavender Beds.

Any help or direction to a page where this is shown would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks ^_^

it seems to be only the Location of the plot, the calsses are not shown anywhere(as far as i know) so you would have to look at the Price for that

They are based on amoung a few others:
    Graphical features near the plot
Amenitis near the plot such as vendors and aetherites
Density of other plots near it (or lack there of)

They never released a key as to hiw they rated which plots what, but it was relatively easy to figure it out when most weren't bougt that I never bothered seeking one out.

    Hmmm... Ok thanks!

The thing is, my fiancée has her heart set on buying a medium personal house when 2.4 hits, in fact she's even got a couple preferred locations picked out by browsing the existing wards (of which the new wards will be carbon copies). However, she'd like to determine exactly how much gil she needs to save to get the plot she wants, but with present pricing/availability it's difficult (perhaps impossible) to figure out the "class" of these preferred plot locations. Considering that her choice can make for a difference of up to 7.5M amongst "medium" housing alone, you can see why it's desirable to have this information haha

At any rate... if someone happens to come across a resource that would provide insight into this endeavour, please post here before 2.4 hits if you don't mind!

    Thanks ^_^

My only advice is for her to save up the max amount and hope that her choice in plots might save her some unexpected cash.

I would recommend her saving up to that 7.5 million difference at minimum. The prices of lots has been directly dependent on overall gil on each individual server. Its more than likely that from 2.38 to 2.4, a lot more gil will have been generated possibly changing the prices. So its pretty hard to determine exactly how much she needs to save. Its best to just keep making as much gil as you can till 2.4.

Tables are arranged as Mist - Lavender - Goblet
Table cells are Plot - Size - Class

And then there's this that shows the price devalution.

I made a visual album out of Lecentlate's tables there to help people prep for 2.4 (assuming they just release duplicate wards and not open up side zones or something).
It's hard to quantify how they graded the plots, but for smalls at least, being secluded rather than bunched with other homes is a big plus.

    Basically, yeah.

They're not adding new wards, just adding an entirely identical zone to each current ward in 2.4.
