But in all seriousness, I'd mess around with hair and face options a bit more, if you're still considering doing it. You can get away with that hairstyle on a Mancat but it looks odd on Highlanders. Also brown is such a boring colour.

Ooor you could spend a half-hour in character creator messing around with different races. May find something you like.

But honestly it's down to your own personal choice really. You shouldn't feel compelled to do what we say if you really don't want to do it

Same here, my main is a midlander male and second is a male miqeto. So glad I leveled both, I'll be leveling Ninja more than once!
