    SE Please Reconsider Fenrir's Role in FFXIV

    I don't know the story behind it quite yet... but I feel Fenrir deserves better than dungeon boss given his godlikeness in other titles (primal twice, elder primal once - in ARR terms).

    Sure, maybe it won't stop there, but even the idea we could fight & defeat him in 4-man content is saddening.

    Perhaps replace him with another wolf-like model & rename?

    I know this isn't FFXI but I feel Fenrir deserves better still.

    Titles might be an overstatement. Wasn't he only "godlike" in XI? Lackluster in VI, and IX?

    Fenrir was only really major in XI, I see no need to make him "godlike" in ARR.... well, because this is ARR.. NOT XI

    His scale is bigger than it was in XI and the content you faced him in XI was not much more required than XI either. I really think some of you are blowing this out of proportion... lots don't even seem to know what they are talking about

    "Godlikeness"? You're confusing FFXI with the rest of series, again.

    The only times he was important was FFXI and FFXII-2 and only in the later if you were going for 100%, and he was a throwaway reference.

    Wasn't Bahamut only important in a few games and was only a strong summon? No where near worthy of being a "main character" like he is in XIV until XI?

    Fenrir was my chewtoy for agility spheres in FFX. Being a dungeon boss with a badass new look is a massive improvement.
