Rogue/Ninja Armor Question

Okay, not sure if this was answered before but we're seeing a lot of pictures now regarding the rogue and ninja. Herein lies my question...

What is the armor they are wearing? If the white/green set they show is the 45/50 gear, what is the ninja wearing? Myth gear? Coil gear? I don't know.

Maybe I'm just completely missing something but if anyone could enlighten me or have any other ideas that would be great!

the green one is the ThiefRogue gear obtained during the questline or craftable i guess, the AF is the Shadow cosplay.

The Rogue gear they are wearing is a special class set that's reminiscent of Thief Artifact armor from Final Fantasy XI:



Ninja Artifact is a restyled Final Fantasy XIV rendition of Final Fantasy VI's Shadow:

My guess woulde be that the green one is the lvl 15 dungeon one and the ninja is just af like for other jobs.

Honestly? we don't know. Anything is speculation at this point. It seems likely the Ninja gear is Ninja AF. The Rogue gear is essentially THF AF from other FF games, but since rogue isn't thief and it is a class, and classes don't get AF.... we just don't know.

my guess is that thief armor is quest rewards from lvl 5 to lvl 30 class quests , head , gloves , pants , boots , chest

Last time I checked, Foestriker's gear is for DoW while the Acolyte gear is for DoM. ROG/NIN is DoW, so it can equip Foestriker's.

The Rogue gear is likely just new battle gear or something... I don't see them making only rogue class gear and not mention making any for the other classes. (unless it's meant to be some super secret surprise in the makings that has never been mentioned before.)

Ninja AF gear is this: and as far as Myth, Coil etc. Your guess is as good as everyone else's because we haven't seen any yet from my understanding. xD


As for rogue...

Rogue gear looks a bit simple so.... it could be class AF gear as some people said but I personally can't picture any 'special' class gear with some pieces that look like they came from a normal dungeon.

I do like the gear but I doubt it is class restricted gear. They can't show us an ungeared mi'qote for a class announcement in what is meant to be a proper presentation though. :x
