I love all this class idead threads...

But do these ever really accomplish anything?

I know its worked for games such as Warframe and what not but with a development team that seems pretty enclosed and keeps everything under wraps I could imagine them having classes panned out already for the probably the games life cycle whenever that may end.

Any opinions like from the OP yourself why do you post these ? Not knocking it or anything as I've said I enjoy these types of threads and what not but when you post is it just for looks or do you truly hope to catch the eye of someone from the company or have them get wind of your idea?

Because I think Puppetmaster should be more physical (and maybe more technology based).
I my thoughts about it in the notes at the bottom. :B

Has SE ever took any Fanmade classes into a game?
    Like in XI?

EDIT: Sorry I didn't mean in XI. I meant if they've ever done it before
    in XI.
@Mimilu: Well that sucks then, I agree they should, people
have tons of fun idea's. I like this one!

If I'm interpreting it right, I wanna say it feels almost like a cross between Blue Mage and Puppetmaster. I'll say I'm intrigued, thumbs up from me ^o^ we need more variety in classes.

    Both. >w>
I like people seeing and critique my work.
I like discussions about lore and gameplay.
I like creating things for the game (I might even enjoy it more then playing the game).
I also like the idea of a Dev seeing my post and, at the very least, getting ideas from it that I can point at in game and be like "Son of a bitch, you took me idea!".

Puppetmasters have very little history in the series; however, one thing is known about them they usually use "puppets" which seems to fit with your idea. Also originally Puppetmaster was intended to be a magic based user (Necromancer) hence why they have a lot of mage gear. I love the idea; however, they should have a job to follow the system that SE already has in place heck they could even have a job completely new to the series.

    For funsies?

I dont want to speak for the OP but for me I like suggestion/what if? threads because is fosters creativity.

Japan is seriously thinking about building an elevator to space.

I like the OP's idea. It seems well thought out and sounds like a cool Spin on the PUP. With a lot of people asking for PUP in 14 maybe give it the puppet master job and gain some fan boy support.
