Does anyone know of a server with a mix of JP and English speakers?

The thread about Japanese PvP made me want to find a server like this. I used to play FFXI and I remember playing PvP with the JP players was simply amazing. Everyone knew what to do, no one complained when we lost and it was overall an amazing experience.

Even outside of PvP it was amazing to interact with people from a different culture than what i'm used to. I got to pick up little nuances of JP online culture and made some amazing oversea friends.

So, yeah, are there are mixed servers out there for people like me?

Better wait for someone from Tonberry to confirm the JP-English relations then. I've never made a character there, I'm just going off what I've read about Tonberry's population. I can confirm that it's part of the JP Data Centre though, so your Duty Finder is likely to match against JP players.

Tonberry has the biggest english speaking community on a japanese server as far as i know. But you will have only japanese speaking people on frontlines, because you will play with the whole data center and not only with people from tomberry. Before you transfer, create another character there and test if you have lag or not. My ping for example (from germany) is around 60-80 on na servers and 200 on japanese. The game didnt allow me to tranfer to tomberry because it is already overpopulated.

Hey Nova how is it going on Tonberry? Since we are now on the same data cluster, we might already did play some frontlines against each other (Not sure if you are on Maelstrom or not). Was already able to play 55 Frontlines Games during the last 6 days wich means i got around 20.000 pvp exp in just one week.

Hey, big guy! The PvP here is freaking great! Short queue times and everyone knows what they're doing. Really tight games and (afaik) no raging! Win or lose, people say gg. Fun stuff, I recommend paying the $18 to swap over here if you guys can. I have a friendly English speaking FC that always has people on
