1. Ciara- the red and blue colours really made this shot stand out to me.
2. Kurri- looks like Ramuh is about to be taken down by a lone Lala, your expression is perfection!
3. Maxwell- I wish you stood out a little more, but the background is shot beautifully which tied it all together for me.


Jayzan- if your characters gear had some bright colours to make you stand out from the background you would have won my vote, love the shot overall.
Tinsley- never thought I would say this but I think there is too much going on for me, hard to tell what is what, but lovely shot none the less.
Yunie- really cute shot, but just felt like it's been done before, would like to see you lookin like a tough little Lala for a battle shot.

Ciara - This is great, it looks like the Chimera is recoiling in pain, nicely captured!
Jayzan - Although I do usually prefer to see faces, I like the set up, it looks like you're about to be picked up. :O QUICK SLASH HIM!!! Love that you have an axe for a tree enemy too, intentional? lol.
Kurri - Great moment of a cast, your pose and expression look good. The lightning gives danger, and Ramuh in shot tops it. Nice to see him filling the negative space on the right also.

Maxwell - It's a nice action pose but I dislike the position of the enemy.
Tinsley - The chocobo ruined it for me, the amount of effects going on around yourself put me off a bit too.
Yunie - You never disappoint me with cuteness gurl! I just dislike the gear and pose for an action theme. I appreciate that you were trying to get a wrong place wrong time vibe though? Again, CUTE! <3

Ciara - Awesome shot, can't say anything negative about this. It even looks like he's recoiling in pain.
Jayzan - The shot was more about the boss than about the model, still fits the bill though.
Kurri - I like the pic; not so sure it is a "battle shot" per se but you at least look battle ready.

The ones I didn't pick:

Maxwell - A simple change of the time of day would've made this my 1st or 2nd pick. It took me way too long to figure out what was going on here because all of the colors are really muted and everything blends in together.
Tinsley - Next time put your chocobo away. He's really distracting. It took me a good minute to figure out that it was your chocobo and not some weird boss I'd never seen. In short, he completely ruined your shot.
Yunie - Cute, but doesn't really fit the round. It's not a battle shot at all.

My top three
1. Ciara: Great action pose, interesting lighting, and we can see your face. My only critique is that your a bit too centered.
2. Kurri: Great pose and expression, very good use of battle effects, and good use of rule of thirds. My only critique is that I wish Ramuh was a little more present.
3. Jayzan: Great action shot, nice angles, good use of rule of thirds, and we can definitely see your boss. My only critique is that I wish I could see more of you.

The others
4. Tinsely: You're shot is very similar to Jayzan's. The only reason I chose his over yours is because of the glow effect makes it hard to tell what's going on. I do like the chocobo in the foregrounds.
5. Yunie: It's cute but it's just not an interesting shot... >A>()
6. Maxwell: While I like the dynamic pose, the picture is very muddled. I couldn't tell the difference between you, the boss, or the scenery.
