SE Lies Again

all i read me it's someone that did purchase a ticket for an event, limited in number, and don't plan to attend it.... meaning someone that was wanting to attend it can't because you simply take the place of one person that will have probably go.

and why this? for some goodies? seriously? all i see is someone extremely selfish that did get punish... by the way, most of the reward for the one attending FanFest are physical goodie. it was easy to know that they will do like blizzard for them blizzcon and offer a way to see the show and get the digital item... especially since they have make sure to say that you have limited place.

i'm sorry, but i can't support you op... because for me, you get what you deserve. if you buy a ticket for the Fanfest and don't plan to go to it... when many people was left out....

Perhaps not properly all laid out in advance (as they probably should), but I wouldn't consider it a lie as much as I think it is information being delivered in a disjointed manor that is not convenient to players.

I guess it depends on how you look at mounts, I see it as a unit of looks at least currently. You can see this by chocobo's particularly. Legacy chocobo, fat chocobo are both chocobos and are both unique, yet every player has a normal chocobo available to them.

From that the only safe assumption is that SE either knows no consistency OR that they see each mount not as a race or a type but as a unit of looks regardless of anything else.

So I guess yes, a carpet is enough to call it a mount of its own type (and a crown is a different type) - at least with their current system. I'd much prefer a system that is more to them being animals and not looks just because I think it would make each mount feel less of a unit and more of a being (fat and legacy chocobos are functional chocobos, Goobbue has crown and carpet barding options, magitek has golden armor option, etc etc) but that has not and likely is not going to happen.

I wasn't upset about this live stream. just wish I knew this before I purchase my physical tickets.

This is what I'm "tiny" upset about.

• I'm going to be standing in line for hours (to register and to play "in-game activities"),
• drive 8 hours,
• take days off, (including explain to my boss why I suddenly need Monday off because they didn't announce the event will be end at 10pm soon enough! I'll be extremely pissed off if I booked my flight @ 8-10pm tho :O good thing I drive to Vegas.)
• spent $$$ on hotels (good thing it's cheap tho), I don't really drink nor gamble. I go to vegas just for this.
• seeing other ppl's head or big monitor from distance during live letter... and can't see anything while Yoshi: "watch this top secret drawing"....(while streaming ppl can just OH~~~~~~~shXt /screenshot!)
• have to go back and watch ppl's screen shot to know what really happened during live letter.

I kinda rather to stay at home and watch live stream and skip the part I don't really care. there are 6 hours nothing to do between live letter (end at 3pm) to seem to be exciting closing ceremony (8pm). Rio is not at a convenient location that you have to drive to main street and everyone knows the traffic sux...
I hope meeting ppl in my server physically will be fun tho... I can sneak attack vergil or denmo...

Honestly speaking this a good thing. Not everyone could go to a Fan-Fest even if they could afford to go or were nearby purely because tickets sell out. So naturally, the majority of fans were upset that they couldnt atleast get the item from FanFest. This being said, Why is that you people fume when you dont get something and fume again when you do!???? Get over it and grow up

Thank you SE for the chance at this item. Even if they did change stuff (which is always subject to change at developer discretion anyways) I feel sorry that SE has to put up with these kinds of "fans".

I understand that your angry and disappointed at Square Enix, but you need to understand that what Square Enix is doing is good for the whole fanbase. I dont live in England nor in USA, even tho I do have the money for the live event, I can not go there, because of extra cost: plane ticket + accommodation. I am a student so I can not fly to another country and miss my classes, not with exams comming soon at the end of October. I reckon alot of players are in my shoes and are very happy to enjoy the live stream + a reward, because lets be honest the Moogle outfit is a incentive to buy the live stream.

Personaly I will wait first and see how much the live stream willl cost, if its less then 30 euro, then I will fork over.
