Will there be a time when we don't lose all items in a synthesis?
Next to wanting to quit a synthesis, this is the next frustrating thing about crafting. Can the harder-to-obtain items please have less of a chance of being destroyed in a synthesis?
Cloth makes sense where it's ruined before the gear is completed, but when you dye it... if you make a mistake you could bleach it.
Metal is a we bit different. If you shatter it, can't it be reforged so it makes sense to keep the materials?
