    How is it ever fair, when a class can do as much damage, and often more than you, and can do it without being in immediate harms way. The balance here is Archer's have little defense. That doesn't really matter when you avoid the damage altogether and if you have hate, can easily withstand short term damage until the tank pulls hate off.

    Have AoE effects that target the ground under melee or ranged players, randomly chosen. Give bosses temporarily shield skills that reflect ranged/magic damage.

    Every other modern MMO developer has come up with or copied ways to keep ranged fighters on their feet, why can't SE? Show some creativity outside of cone and AoE attacks.

    If your own shell wont take you because your melee, its called being elitist pricks

    when you make a group of people you dont know, that may be acceptable, but people in your shell are supposed to be your friends, shows how much they care about you when you dont get invites

    granted, meelee may get the short end of the stick in some stuff, but you cant fully blame the game mechanics on that the dungeon CAN be done without all ranged people just refuse to try

    i have to dissagree with this. many many shells in FFXI as well as guilds in other MMOs are entirely focused on getting business done and thats it. then players go back to their social shells or alts.
    im not saying this is true for everyone, but it is very prevalent.

    but its funny when people complain about their shells doing it
    if you dont like your shell doing it, get another shell obviously....one that actualy cares about its players and not just its elitist runs

    yeah I also confused with his statement

    The problem of melee being excluded is due to ridiculous MP cost hikes, and not due to melee players having no desire to learn strategy
    can someone explain to me his logic in this statement?
