It seems people have forgotten that Yoshi straight up said "[Rogue/Ninja will be the last class/job to be added before the expansion] (3.0)."

Granted after the personal housing fiasco I don't know how much we can actually put into that statement but nonetheless he did say no more classes/jobs until the expansion where we will be getting both a tank and a healer. I don't believe he clarified if they would come with the expansion or during the 3.X series.
