+1, myself included :x, after Siren then Diabolos now Fenrir reduced to a weak dungeon boss............................................
brb, gonna facepalm near my collection of old school Final Fantasys.
I know a lot of people who are going to get set off regarding Fenrir.
If I die, forgive me. I used to be a Dragoon.
Going to be optimistic and say Fenrir will probably be the toughest dungeon boss we have ever had. Just by the fact that ST will have no lockouts. Free sands anyone? Sol will be uncapped as well. Average ilvl will be 105
Im really hoping they bring back some difficulty to the game.
When 2.0 first went live, I remember wiping on Demon Wall for an hour - The fight wasn't particularly hard, it was just a dance but still it was pretty intense!! - Titan hard as well - Pretty difficult at the time... Now it just seems to be "Heres some new "hard" dungeons that aren't that hard at all...
Hopefully with the lockout being removed from ST, they up the difficulty with the new stuff.
I really can't agree more with this, and the post above yours as well.
Right now, for me personally, the hardest thing about the game is finding people to do coil 2 with. Everything else (inb4 zomg u don't raid = u don't know sh*t) is too easy. I know that not all people feel this way, and that for newer players there are a lot of things that can certainly be difficult still. Ramuh Ex is pretty difficult with a PUG but with a good group or with ur FC its just another boss.
I also understand that Yoshi cares a lot for the newer players and he is also satisfying the raiders with coil3, but what about the rest of us "middling" players? I find it insulting that ST is considered challenging content for tier 2 stuff (anything not coil and not a normal dungeon). Hullbreaker Isle, Tam Tara, and stone vigil are easily doable with 3 people. No challenge at all.
I love the game and still log in everyday because it is fun for me, but at the same time, if I die its usually just a derp and not because something challenign caused me to fail.
It does mean that technically. They can be used again but for what purpose? They're originally summons - in XIV would make them Primals. Which primals were used as dungeon boss before becoming a primal fight? Ultima is a good example simply because it's TECHNICALLY a primal as well and didn't have a proper fight. Omega will likely get the same treatment.
Except we still don't know everything the patch includes. As shown in the past, they don't announce everything. Many details are left for the patch notes.Got to say this is the worst patch since the launch, only nin saves it from being just a minor patch.
As far as we know it only includes 3 dungeons, 1 primal, coil end, and nin, every past patch brought a new feature to make the game feel different and new for the next month, this one only adds more grind, it feels a bit lackluster... but well, there are 1 and may be 2 LL before the implementation, they may be saving something good for the first fan fest...
Speaking of Ninja and Yugiri .. is this just a normal mi'qote tail or is this man from the same race as Yugiri's?
