you seem so certain that they couldn't introduce Dark and Light Crystals to the players in the game. as stated by those before me the Ascians have Dark Crystals, and Hydaelyn is a huge Crystal of Light. we just cannot obtain Crystals of those Elements yet. nothing says they cannot add something to the story to allow us to obtain them. nothing at all says they cannot do these things.
