SE Dev: So, when players reach lv50 they become almost invincible, all these poor monsters of Eorzea don't stand a chance against them...it's unfair...

SE Dev2: Well, what are you going to do about it? You are developing this game...you can do whatever you want!

SE Dev: Hmmm....how about....we make mobs throw heavy continuously to the players, even if they're mounted, and they can't get away as fast as they want to for like...I don't know, 20 seconds?

SE Dev2: Wow, that sounds like something that would become annoying in the long run...are you sure about this?

Witch dev got the idea of this long heavy that apply really often and that doesn't have like stun, a resist after getting hit by too many ?

I was wondering myself, or the dev team didn't try the game, or one of them hate MMO RPG's players, or it's a troll... Maybe all at same time.

This perma heavy is useless, annoying, and just make ppl mad instead of enjoying playing.
Specially when you're trying to get a fate, or a hunt target, that is already pulled, and you get 1-2 heavy mid-way... The best moment, perfect to make players getting mad.

I'm a WHM, so I can dispel myself, and even with this, this annoy me so much... I cant imagine for a class tohat cant dispel himself (remind me a frient Pld that told me about this heavy and was comlaining about it)

What I find funny about the beast tribes is that I have maximum friendship with all of them thanks to the Beast tribe quests. But still, as soon as I leave their camp, they are all over me, aggoing me, trying to kill me. And put the devastating Heavy on me. Must be really good friends! Imagine what they would be like if you were not their friends. Oh wait......

When I started the first series of tribe quests, I was hoping that in the end, when I am their best friend, they will just leave me alone and stop aggroing me. Boy, was I naive.

...are you for real? You should go back and actually read the quests. It explains quite clearly why this was not going to happen.

It help to read the quests text. You are only friendly to a small group of the tribes (outsiders or rebells), not to all.
