They should just pick one or the other for each of the classes and stop mixing and matching.

IE: make WHM as 2h staff only, while BLM is 1h scepter + shield. Or something like that.

It's sort of stupid that they have both options because the 2h option is just blatantly inferior as long as there is a 1h+shield available at the same ilvl. The 1h + shield gets the same number of stat points, and the same weapon damage as the 2h option. The only difference is that 1h+shield also gets block for "free" (not that it's all that useful, but it *is* there, and it's completely free).

Right now it just screws up glamour options and makes gearing unnecessarily more complicated for no good reason.

The WHM weapon from Garuda HM is also one handed. I was disappointed when I found out, since I think the Garuda weapons look cool.
