Moggle staff

I'm so disapointed that the Moggle staff, even the "new" one that we craft, is One-Handed.

Why is this like this ?

This is, with the T9 staff, the weapon's WHM skin I prefer, but all high-lvl WHM weapon are Two-handed, I cant use this for Glamour, it's so sad...

Why this is non crafted Two-Handed Moggle staff ? And why I feel like i'm the only one concern by this ?

I feel the same as you do . I hope going forward with the game SE are just going to stick to 2-handed weapons for both white and black mage. Also i am wishing that they will redo the crafted primal weapons for these two classes and make them all 2-handed. Come on Yoshi-P, we know you want to do this for us

I really don't get why they bother with one-handed options at all since they don't want to provide any that are remotely close to BiS, anyway.

I really, really want to glamour my weapon because the crafted WHM Moogle weapon looks so cute ;3;... but yeah, it's one-handed. :\ You're definitely not the only one disappointed!

The last 1 handed BiS caster weapon came from T5, and that is only if you got the ancient buckler/shield thingy. Honestly, 2handed or go home, you know this Yoshi...you know this!

I think the point should be there is no moogle shield (mage) ....^^;
If there is a moogle mage shield, I think everyone will be happy that moogle whm staff is one-handed.

The issue would still be that it can not be used with glamour with the BiS weapons or end game weapons i general. Moogle wand and shield still can not be used to glamour Thyrus or the High Allagen Crook etc.

Honestly ppl and the stats will never except 1 handed weps/ shields for whm.
Its all about the current 2 handed wep meta.
So they really should stop making future weps 1 handed for whms if it'll never be on par or better than the 2 handed crook alternatives.
Only wep i can think of tht the mog ex whm wep can be glamoured on to and still be viable for current endgame is the tidal wave wand.
But oddly we have Thyrus, judgement staff, HA crook, yagrush ( not too sure forgot lol)

It's 1-handed because it was 1-handed in 1.0 and they made endgame mage shields because that game was ending.

Future 1-handed ones would prob have a matching shields just like leviathan.

They should just pick one or the other for each of the classes and stop mixing and matching.

IE: make WHM as 2h staff only, while BLM is 1h scepter + shield. Or something like that.

It's sort of stupid that they have both options because the 2h option is just blatantly inferior as long as there is a 1h+shield available at the same ilvl. The 1h + shield gets the same number of stat points, and the same weapon damage as the 2h option. The only difference is that 1h+shield also gets block for "free" (not that it's all that useful, but it *is* there, and it's completely free).

Right now it just screws up glamour options and makes gearing unnecessarily more complicated for no good reason.
