I'm at 5/6...only shonisaurus left, but can't attempt it until I get the i80 rod, because my FC already put the gathering buff for me twice and I don't want to bug them more (was lucky enough to get one Nepto during that time but not shoni). I'm at 78/112 right now so it shouldn't take "too long" to get the rod...with the supra and no fc buff I simply don't meet the requirements for stupid shoni...

Anybody else had trouble with "The Sinker"? So far I'm 96/112 but this fish is brutally depressing, I'm at a horrendous 0/32 strike with this fish (around 17-20 windows), starting to think there's some sort of bug that's preventing me from catching it...because I haven't heard any horror stories about this fish and I'm at 399 gathering...the fish that took me more tries was The Matriarch (around 20 if I remember well)...and Cornelia was a pain too...but 32 attempts on a fish I haven't seen anyone complain about? Fishy as hell...

I guess I would've missed it anyway...but in my last legendary animation for The Sinker some dumbo aggroed a bark eft and it aoed the hell out of me...no comment...

Ok - I need to ask for some help on this one - The Terpsichorean at Ranicatcher Gully in Eastern La Noscea says it needs Fog Weather for it - I've been watching weather for 3 days and have yet to see fog in that zone at all - can anyone confirm/deny this?

EDIT: Naturally after I post this, I stay up a couple of hours later than usual and finally see it spawn as I'm about to log out - caught it on first try

Fog is a rare weather in Eastern La Noscea. Also enjoy watching it get away a lot. I really mean A LOT. 8+ weather appearances over a few weeks with a total of 17 get aways before I got mine.

Has anyone hooked The Salter (Hidden Falls) at all during this Xmas event? I know it doesn't appear to be tied to any of the city weathers, but I've gone out in full gear (including Ironworks rod) using Honey Worms for 35+ windows now and never seen a single bite. I know it doesn't have the big fish animation; I've pulled every single fish that bites....and still never got a bite?
