I'm pretty sure at least one's going to do so, but we'll be talking "highest level" fish.

I'm more concerned with what new gear we're going to have to be shelling out for. If i90 accessories come out I can only imagine them being hella expensive, and then nevermind needing to buy new G4 materia for each of their initial slots. And all that for just a total of +5 Gathering/Perception over our current limit.

Either way we should be able to see immediately at least where the new fish appear in our log, right? I wouldn't be surprised if there's more than just 13.

It's already been confirmed that the last fish you need to get 100/100 will require it to be snowing in Southern Thanalan with a dust storm in Coerthas. It will be a two hour window, but whenever you are fishing, that's not the window.

Final reward for final Go Big or Go Home achievement? Ultros minion/mount.

Also, I believe these new fishing Ixali quests are basically SE putting in place the mechanics for catching the Nepto Dragon in 2.4, which, like the Ixali fish, will be a key item questline fish only catchable after accepting the follow-up quest to Beast of Brewer's Beacon and Nepto will be not listed in the Fishing Log. Possibly this will tie in with the Go Big or Go Home achievement and you have to do both to get full rewards. Another title? Lu Shang's Rod?

And look forward to more FFXI mega-fish showing up, like Lik and Gugrusaurus, and maybe even a comeback of Tricorn and Nether Newt!

Now if I can just catch all these 2.3 fish, I'll be ready for the madness of 2.4 Big Fishing.

Q:Whats the point in Big Fishing?
A: Currently we are still looking into if it's possible to add aquariums.
There are no plans to add food that uses big fish as an ingredient at the moment. Creating a new meal that offers incredible buffs would in turn have an affect on the balance of battle, so we have to look into this type of thing carefully.

We're currently looking into turning fish into furnishings and adding other achievements for Big Fishing, so please hang in there while we look into these features.

• Fish that appear only in certain combinations of weather conditions have been added. E.g. Breeds of fish that only appear in rainy storms that directly follow sunny spells.
• Fish that only appear based on your previous catches have been added. E.g. Breeds of fish that only appear after five of their natural predator have been caught.
• Go Big or Go Home X: Catch 106 different varieties of big fish.
