he is obviously a gil seller/gil buyer, transfering money over the marketboard instead of mail/trade to make it less suspicious, you can't really control the market on stuff like the nutkin(if it now was the nutkin), it's pointless and really really risky, because you wouldn't be able to sell all those for a very long time.

And yet it works time after time in numerous MMO's. Mass inflation is present in every single MMO, and it's present in FFXIV no different. Over the past year alone already there's a steep incline to be seen on what people are willing to pay for vanity items and consumables. And as the total amount of gil per server keeps steadily increasing, this trend is going to continue ever further.

its still stupid to buy something which is worth ~5m for 15m in the hope to sell it in 1 year for 15.1m

and most vanity items drop in price instead of getting more expensive
theres even noone buying the pets except 3 or 4 different ppl who buy them over and over again
