Hello, me and a few friends recently resubed and have been playing for a little over a week the server were currently on Ultros is dead. I was looking at the server lists and wonder what servers were still active. I was looking for a server that had pugs to do the new t6-9 content so i can catch back up while my friend was looking for an active player base to try and start a FC. Any help would be appreciated.

Excalibur (Legacy) generally has a heavy end-game content scene, T6-9 pug groups throughout the week.

I would think just about any server will have endgame groups, even on Brynhildr we have a few FCs dedicated to it. Balmung will have the highest population, followed by Excal, then kinda equals out with Leviathan, Behemoth, Sargatanas etc. Ultros population does seem a little low but its far from dead, from visiting it little more than a week ago myself.

From experience Balmung in terms of end-game progression wasn't the greatest, at least in terms of successful pick up groups for The Binding Coil.
However, there was a bigger presence of content such as primals, which seems to dwindle faster on Excalibur post-patch.

seeing that GAF is on Ultros, im finding it hard to even imagine that server being dead. Excal, Balmung, and Cactuar have a pretty good amount of end game going on.

I don't know what you consider dead, since there's tons of activity regularly throughout the day, but this site seems to be what you're looking for.

Yup i made a hyure alt on balmung the other day...managed to make a toon reallly early in the morning before they locked it, player community on balmung are very nice, i like what i saw.

Yeah, sounds like Sargatanas. We're locked the majority of the day. x_x

I almost never have difficulty finding people to farm with; when I do it's far off peak hours.

I know it does sound odd, i stopped playing earlier this year due to guild drama after finishing t5, like i said i came back a week ago in full i90 gear and i can't seem to find a pug thats willing to take me, it may be that way because of the lateness in the patch. The second reason is that while there is people generally almost all people seem to be in a FC already, So dead may not quite be the correct word but trying to form a FC on tyhis server seems quite hard as there does seem to be no one wanting to join.

Ultros is far from dead. Its just that there are plenty of FC already. Its like this on most worlds, as either people integrate to larger FC or make their own with their friends. More and more people are relying less on FC for end game and more on LS for end game. Ask around and find a LS that does the raids.
